QUEEN- THIS RARE PROMO 12" TEST PRESSING 1 - SIDED 12" RECORD. ORIGINAL CAME WITH MY FRIENDS VIRGIN BOXSET.(WHICH SELLS FOR 10 GRAND) THIS IS SO RARE!! PROBABLY ON A FEW EXIST... STAMPED INTO MATRIX(QUEEN DAY VIRGIN WINNER) A TEST PRESSING FOR THE SET. TOTALLY MINT/PERFECT CONDITION TRACK IS I WAS BORN TO LOVE YOU BY FREDDIE,THIS ITEM HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED!

THIS AUCTION IS FOR VIRGIN 8- 1-SIDED TEST PRESSING.BECAUSE ITS A TEST PRESSING,THERE IS NO BLACK SLEEVE AS IT NEVER CAME WITH ONE.
The 25th November 1996, the UK radio station, Virgin Radio held a Queen Day to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the death of Freddie Mercury.

All day the station featured a Queen heavy playlist, however the highlight of the day was the competition that ran from 7am to 7pm. Every hour Virgin radio gave away a specially commissioned 12" to a lucky competition winner.
These 12" were pressed by Parlophone/EMI at Virgin's request. Each 12" was one-sided (leaving one side blank) and featured a track from the 1995 Made In Heaven album, the tracks were as follows
Heaven For Everyone (VIRGIN2)
A Winter's Tale (VIRGIN3)
Mother Love (VIRGIN4)
Let Me Live (VIRGIN5)
You Don't Fool Me (VIRGIN6)
It's A Beautiful Day (VIRGIN7)
IWas Born To Love You (VIRGIN8)
All copies of VIRGIN1 (Heaven For Everyone) were destroyed as they were inadvertantly mispressed with the track on both sides.
