Description
Here is a genuine RARE vintage pressing of We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions by Queen. It is a 1977 12 Inch PROMO 45 on Elektra Records. Queen 12-77 DJ-A - 'Close Cold' version. Guaranteed original! I got this from a local radio station years ago and have swapped it into a better CBS plain white promo jacket. It was in a more beat-up plain CBS one (even though Elektra is not affiliated with CBS...I guess they just stuck it in there at the station). I use GOLDMINE grading standards:
DISC: VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ Plays closer to VG+
Plays with a few tics here and there. Both sides played cleaner than I expected from eyeballing it, but it HAS been played/handled.
On the STEREO side it gets noisier as it segues into We Are the Champions
There are round fluorescent orange stickers (that the camera cannot truly capture the color of) or the residue/traces of them on the labels. The DJ marked the Mono side.
COVER: VG+/NM- This is not an Elektra plain sleeve based on the stamp, but is better than the same plain CBS one I got it in.
LP's are removed from their outer sleeve to help protect against edgewear and sent in plastic outer sleeve. I pack VERY securely and rather obsessively. Please email with questions BEFORE bidding!
