This is a VERY RARE PROMO ONLY !!! UK 12" by the band QUEEN from 1985, NEAR MINT ORIGINAL PRESSING AND A MUST !!!
This is a ONE SIDED PROMO ONLY RELEASE FOR RADIO of the track "HAMMER TO FALL (LIVE IN RIO)" that was done to promote the QUEEN LIVE IN RIO VIDEO CASSETTE.
Only a couple of hunderd copies were made for radio in order to get radio plays and promote the Video release. As you can see the label clearly states "NEVER TO BE COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE , RADIO VERSION ONLY", while the blank side label tells the story behind this PROMO ONLY RELEASE and the live in Rio concert. This copy also comes with the ORIGINAL DIE CUT BLACK SLEEVE with the RADIO PROMOTER CONTACT INFORMATION STICKER !!! this is normally missing !!!
This PROMO ONLY 12" single was pressed in 1985 on EMI RECORDS, catalogue number PMI 1.
The MATRIX NUMBERS ARE MACHINE STAMPED and are: SIDE 1 - PMI 1 A-1-1-1 (MACHINE STAMPED) and "THE GEESE FLY ON! AM 10/07/85 (etched), SIDE 2 (blank side) - LP FB 12 (all machine stamped).
The tracks are: HAMMER TO FALL (LIVE IN RIO) / side 2 plays a tone.
The single comes with the ORIGINAL BLACK DIE CUT SLEEVE with THE ORIGINAL PROMOTION'S PERSON CONTACT DETAILS the condition is: VINYL is in EX+++++/MINT- condition (WAS UNPLAYED, played once to test, only the most minor sleeve scuffs visible under 150w light bulb), ORIGINAL BLACK DIE CUT SLEEVE WITH PROMOTIONS STICKER is in VG+++/EX condtion.
DON'T LET THIS RARE UK PROMO ONLY ONE SIDED QUEEN 12" single get away as you will NEVER see another one.
