Queens Of The Stone Age "S/T" 1ST LP on Man's Ruin Records #151. Check out www.thefade.net for a full Queens discography that will tell you exactly what the real pressings are versus the bootlegs floating around. 2500 on black, 302 on yellow/orange, 198 on green. The band did their own "bootleg" as well of 198 on blue vinyl to sell on tour with Man's Ruins blessing. I am a buyer for the biggest indie store in Detroit. I am also a huge Queens/Kyuss fan. We dealt directly with Man's Ruin when this was released so we got several on the day of release. Why am I selling my copy? Because I am no longer a collector & have been liquidating my collection to pay bills, etc. Remember, this is the GREEN VINYL and only 198 were pressed of this color make it the RAREST VERSION (except for maybe the blue vinyl that the band pressed as stated above). Details:
1. It is SEALED! I only opened it earlier today to clarify color. You will see in my pictures the shrinkwrap is still on and I took photos of the barcode/sticker before I cracked it to check the color!
2. Yes, it has the matrix number on the vinyl itself (remember this is the ORIGINAL PRESSING!!!!!!). Side A has MR-151-A and L-50953 etched into the vinyl. Side B has MR-151-B and L-50953X etched into the vinyl.
3. Yes it is the gatefold sleeve. It is the only way it was pressed.
4. Yes, this record has never been played and was only opened to varify the color!!!!
The matrix number will not show up in photos because it is etched into the vinyl. I tried but it will not show up. But yet again, THIS IS THE ORIGINAL & IS NOT A BOOTLEG!!! IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED. THE SHRINK IS STILL ON THE GATEFOLD!! THIS IS GREEN WHICH IS THE RAREST COLOR WITH ONLY 198 PRINTED!!! IT WAS CUT OUT THE DAY IT WAS RELEASED & I BOUGHT IT ON THE DAY OF RELEASE!!!! THIS WAS MY COPY & NOW IT CAN BE YOURS!!!!!
