Description
QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE / GAMMA RAY
The absolute first release by Josh Homme's QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE,
but back then (this was released before the first self titled album)
they went by the name of GAMMA RAY.
Since there's another band called GAMMA RAY (the Helloween guitarist's
other band or something like that) they changed name to QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE.
This was released in the mid-90's by the now defunct cult label MAN'S RUIN RECORDS.
It features the songs "If Only Everything" (which on the S/T album is featured in another version
and under the shortened title "If Only") and "Born To Hula".
MAN'S RUIN was known for releasing very limited runs of colored vinyls.
The vinyl itself is clear with a tint of light light blue/green (all pressings are that way).
There are 2 editions of this release (besides the test pressing of like 5 copies which is _impossible_ to find).
Altogether there are 2000 copies of this 7":
The first 1000 have a G on the label and the 2nd 1000 have superimposed circles and straightforwards.
You are bidding on a copy which is one of the first 1000!!
This really is ultra ultra rare. Just think back, when was the last time you saw this on eBay...?
