QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE - SELF TITLED FIRST ALBUM - TRULY RARE ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING BLACK VINYL MAN'S RUIN RECORDS - MINT
---i am including the breakdown of all the releases of this fine album (from discogs) so you can see what you're dealing with.. this is one of the original 2500 black vinyl copies from 1998 that i have owned ever since.. and it's in beautiful pristine condition. very very rare to find like this.. nearly every copy you will ever find on ebay is a later bootleg until you get to the new re-issue in 2011. i am listing it with a really low buy-it-now price for its true value and with a very reasonable reserve (i dont like to use a reserve... i just don't want it to get stolen from me for next to nothing) so.. have at it.
***The vinyl edition was released under license from Loosegroove Records as a single pressing of 3000 copies in gatefold sleeve.
First pressing:
198 copies on green vinyl
302 copies on yellow/orange vinyl
2500 copies on black vinyl

An additional 198 copies on blue vinyl were pressed by the band (with permission from Man's Ruin) in late 1998.
Those were mainly sold on the 1999 US Tour.

*I am a record fan and longtime collector and now starting to sell off a good part of my vinyl collection. I am not a dealer or record flipper, these Lp's have all been in my collection and played lovingly and delicately for the years I have had them. I will be as careful as possible about condition, and know that in general my records are clean and excellent playing examples of some hard to find records. If a record had excess noise or any real issues that affected enjoyment it didn't stay in my collection for long. I like a quiet play as much as any other audiophile. Always played on very high quality equipment in a smoke free home and taken care of like they were my children. That said, I'm not a collector nut and these are just records from a person with a good collection who will miss most of them dearly.. just moving out and moving on.
*I have sold a fair amount of my records on ebay before and had very few issues as far as grading and such, so if a record is not in the condition described it may be returned for refund.. but not for any other reason. I don't want unhappy customers.. so if you do have any issues be sure to communicate with me and let's work it out as I appreciate the excellent seller rating I've earned so far on ebay and would like to keep it that way.
*All records come in a mylar sleeve with the vinyl outside of the cover to prevent tearing and will be safely packaged in a cardboard record box with bubble wrap and include an invoice. Up to 2 Lp's fit into these boxes (for the most part) so shipping can usually be combined so that every two records will ship as one. I will ship promptly via USPS with delivery confirmation and insurance for the purchase price of your record. *PLEASE NOTE THE ACTUAL SHIPPING COSTS* (ebay does not allow me to enter the true cost but i can't buy the box/packaging and ship with proper methods to ensure safe delivery for only four bucks!) *Continental US shipping is $7 and all other locations via USPS First Class International with insurance is $21. Paypal only. Payment is requested due immediately after auction ending so I can get to the post office and get your record on the way without delay. If you have any issues with prompt payment please talk to me first. Thank you in advance and good luck. Cheers!
