Description
This is an original example of the only album by a British band from Wales called Quicksand entitled 'Home Is Where I Belong'. It's on the Dawn Records label. This LP was released in 1973 and the catalogue number is DNLS 3056. You will not find a better example of progressive/psychedelic music. The guitar work is absolutely stunning.
OUTER SLEEVE - The gatefold sleeve is in fine condition. The top and bottom edges show minor wear with minimal damage. Similarly, the spine is in fine condition with very minor damage. The wording along the spine is 95% readable. There is some wear on the front and rear sleeves and there appears to be a small stain on the inner portions of the sleeve at the top which does not detract from the overall quality of the sleeve. I've graded the sleeve as Ex--.
INNER SLEEVE - This is a plain white diecut paper sleeve with no polythene liner.
RECORD - The record itself has been played only a few times. There is only very minor surface noise. The record really is in superb condition. There are no jumps or skips on any of the tracks but there is some very minor surface noise. There is no damage to the labels on either side. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are as follows - side one - DNLS 3056 A-1^X (stamper - C 1) - side two - DNLS 30566 B-1^X (stamper - D 1). I have graded the record as Ex+ and I believe that this is very fair. I try to grade everything as accurately and conservatively as possible. The winner of this auction will not.
