This is an original SIGNED vinyl LP of QUINCY JONES' classic soundtrack for "ROOTS" - this is one of Quincy's most famous television soundtrack recordings. This is the vinyl recording of the 1977 soundtrack for the "ROOTS" TV mini-series. The most watched television mini-series of all-time!!! 85% of all homes in the USA viewed some or part of this series during its original broadcast. The show won 37 Emmys and is considered and landmark in television history.
This is a MUST-HAVE soundtrack for music lovers & collectors. This recording rarely turns up on eBay autographed. It's fairly difficult to locate this record in this sort of collectible condition. This item was SIGNED for me IN PERSON by the music legend, QUINCY JONES. He is 79 years old. Quincy signed the item with a silver paint pen.
DETAILS:
The album appears to be an original or early pressing on A&M Records [SP-4626]... The record appears clean. The original insert sleeve is intact. The cover only appears to have minimal edge wear. No creasing or splits. The item is in Overall a VG+ copy of a classic album. Very nice!
