Description

  • 1980 Guitorn Records NTN 1216, this is an original US private pressing - NOT a recent reissue - of the hard to find self titled LP from the Connecticut jazz/fusion/funk band Quintessence. Jacket is about VG+/VG++, showing some handling and rubbing; tthere is a 3 inch tape repair on the spine, and some corner bumping/color flaking. Vinyl is a shiny VG+/VG++, showing some minor paper and surface marks on the B side; the third track, "In My Apartment", has an ugly pressing bump that affects playback during about 1/6 pf the song. Otherwise, playback is solid throughout - some crackle and occasional pop during quieter interludes - but no skips or repeats. Labels are crisp with no spindle wear. NOTE: As of January 27th, US postal rates have increased. Buyers now pay $4.00 media shipping in the US, $21.00 first class mail overseas.
