Mikael EmmertsenUser Review - Courtesy of AllMusic.comFebruary 15, 2016 This group was very popular among hippies on acid. Around 1970 they were more popular than Pink Floyd as a live act in the London area. Like Hawkwind they were a mind blast. In the original formation they existed between 1968 and 1972. They were at their peak between 1969 and 1971.
"Dive Deep" is a must for all who love real acid rock. To me this is Quintessence's best album and the last of the three true classics they made. "Dance for the One" and "Brahman" are the definite highlights on the album. Together they form a beautiful suite.
