Note : il quintetto, nonostante la giovane età dei suoi componenti, si classificò al secondo posto, dietro soltanto al quintetto di Gil Cuppini, al concorso " La Coppa del Jazz " organizzato dalla RAI e svoltosi tra il Gennaio e il Maggio 1960.
Notes : the quintet, though the young age of his members, came second, after only the Gil Cuppini Quintet, at the " La Coppa del Jazz " the contest organized by the Italian television (RAI) and held between January and May 1960.
La formazione (line-up) : Dino Piana, trombone - Gianni Dosio, sax tenore - Enrico Desià, piano - Nando Amedeo, contrabbasso - Franco Tonani, batteria (drums).
