Description
Here is the quadraphonic 8 track of The Magic Of Christmas_Choir Of Trinity School -- (LON) H 744218 album. Tape has been opened, checked and tested. I have replaced pads and sensing foil as needed and visually checked tape with case opened and while doing a manual fast forward. Tape tension has been checked for binding and tapes have been test played on my system several times. Equipment used to test was Kenwood KR-9940 4 Channel receiver and Sony TC-258 4 Channel 8 track player pushing 4 matched Bose speakers. The tape case itself has the usual wear and tear and bubbling of labels but the tape has played clean with no problems. One of the things I do is to fix these 8-tracks as 98% of the ones I buy on e-bay need repair, even if they are still sealed. What I sell can be played as soon as you receive them from me, if there's something not right with it, I will let you know when I post it here.
Sound quality is GOOD, I have listened to the tape. The end label is ok and readable.
Note: I do replace the rivet in the types of carts that use them with easy access (but solid) screws.
Also, I have cleaned both the inside and outside of the case to make it look as good as I can and polishing it when needed. You WILL NOT get a dirty, dusty 8 track from me. Sadly, there's only so much I can do with the labels.
