Description

Various Artists,Quadrafile - Four Speakers - Four Systems - Four Sides,LP, Catalogue Number: (DE-1-A & DE-1-B, AR-1099 & AR-1100), Cover Details: Gatefold sleeve with a Clear/Poly/Pvc inner sleeve.

Cover Condition: very good condition with some creasing or marks as seen in the pictures or noted.

Record Condition: Has some light surface marks which should not affect play, these are mostly made from removing the record from the sleeve so should play through fine with no playback defects(no actual scratches or jumps/skips/sticks etc) and is acceptable to most collectors.

Any Other Details: Rare original first (and only) pressing. This LP was limited to 5000 copies only, this is number 360. These two records present all four commercially available quadraphonic disc systems - UD-4 & SQ, CD-4 & QS, each system has a single side, but share identical material with the others. There are several uses but the main one is to compare the effects of each system directly. Produced for Hi-Fi news and record review magazine England 1976. Music on the tracks are:- Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells (extract), Mahler - Symphony 3 (extract), Pink Floyd - Money, Yehudi Menuhin/Stephanie Grappelli - Just One Of Those Things, Bartok- Concerto For Orchestra and Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells (extract). The sleeve has a couple of creases and the previous owner has written their name inside the gatefold on the right side, please see the pictures. The inner sleeves are very thick pvc, they are both in excellent condition. The information about this LP is carried on a separate card insert which is also in excellent condition
