The Quarrymen (Beatles) – That'll Be The Day
Beatles Cine Club – E-8099 Flexi-disc, 7", 33 ⅓ RPM, Single Sided Japan, 1988
Misprint name on record
Scarce 7-inch flexi disc issued exclusively to members of the Beatles Cine Club (the official Japanese Beatles fan club), featuring one of the two 1958 acetate recordings by The Quarry Men.
Story of the Quarry Men (or Quarrymen) Founded by John Lennon at the Quarry Bank School in Liverpool in the middle of 1957, the band was first known as the Black Jacks for the span of a week or so. The cast of members varied over the next three years, with Paul McCartney joining in July 1957, and George Harrison joining in February 1958. After trying a few different names, the name The Beatles was set for a show in Hamburg, West Germany on August of 1960.
Condition is:
VG+ (has a couple of creases as shown in picture). With original thin beige paper folded cover and original blue inner sleeve with Japanese text on back bottom

MINT (Used/preowned but in brilliant condition with no signs of wear. Should play perfectly)
NM (super clean overall, with very few minor imperfections, like surface sleeve wear, thin hairlines, or short and very slightly feelable mark. Should play really, minus any minimal occasional occurrences of audio imperfection)
VG+ ( with more signs of wear and some feelable marks or pops but no feelable scratch. Should play well overall, with occasional or more sustained surface noise)
VG (more signs of wear, time passage, and deeper marks and/or scratches, which affect play fbut without disturbing the sound)
G (very feelable noise, some scratch and jump)
F and P (very weak condition)
