Description

Here we have a rare 1970 UK 1st Press copy of Quatermass - Quatermass self titled album released in 1970 on the Harvest label - a prog rock classic!
The record has been ultrasonically cleaned in our amazing Degritter and the vinyl has come up spotlessly clean and very shiny with no real marks visible apart from a couple of faint scuffs. Clean labels and spindle holes - graded EX.
Playtest reveals a warm, clear and analogue sound, nostalgic and ethereal in parts, with great depth and detail. The vinyl plays through beautifully with no issues apart from occasional low surface noise/crackle in a few of the quieter passages - nothing unusual for vinyl of this vintage.
The gatefold laminate sleeve is clean and solid with no laminate peel. A small area of lift just beginning near the spine. No writing, stains, splits, tape or tears.
The original EMI printed inner sleeve is present. We have popped the record into a brand new poly lined inner to keep it pristine after cleaning - you will receive both.
A lovely example of this rare classic, fully cleaned & tested, to own, play and enjoy!
We have taken lots of photos in good natural daylight so you can see exactly what you are buying. Please take a moment to look at the photos as they form part of the description.
