Up for auction is a true treasure: a vinyl lp of Queen's first album, signed by Freddie Mercury in blue ballpoint pen. This is a "Fame" reprint of the album, released in Europe in the early 1980s. I purchased this from a very well-respected Queen collector back in 2003...She had it signed by Freddie after a concert in Germany in the spring of 1982. I'm starting the price low and without reserve because of the following: 1) there is some wear/creasing to the edges of the cover, and 2) Freddie's signature is light, as he used a blue ballpoint pen that doesn't contrast well with the cover art. Although I've been collecting Queen for over a decade, this is the only Freddie signature I've ever owned. I'm only parting with it because I'm looking to buy a high-end Queen item, and that requires money! In a market full of forgeries, I personally guarantee this signature...Hopefully my feedback will speak for itself.
