MEGA RARE

Queen Single 'Hammer to Fall'

WITHDRAWN 'LIVE' SLEEVE!

On offer here is a mega rare copy of the Queen single 'Hammer to Fall'. This is the 7" pressing with the withdrawn 'Live' sleeve (depecting the band playing live on stage). This was how the single was initially released but was withdrawn within the week because Brian May didn't like the sleeve - thinking that people would think that the song was recorded live rather than in a studio.

The cover has been counterfeited, but this is a 100% authentic pressing. The cardboard used is thick, the print is clear and bright and the word 'Cassette' is spelt correctly on the back. The disc also has black vinyl.

The cover is in NM+ condition! The cover is clean with no corner creases whatsoever. The backflaps are still stuck tight and there are no imprints or writing on the label! The only thing I can see is that the edges are beginning to wear slightly, showing spots of white.

The disc is in MINT- condition. It looks like it has never even seen a record needle!

Copies of this single hardly ever show up! This copy will NEVER need upgrading! Don't let it slip by!

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertisied as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc. Fair (F) The record is still just about playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
