First Issue, Early PressingExcellent condition record and very good condition embossed 3 die cut corner gatefold sleeve. Includes original printed inner sleeve.
Please see photos for signs of damage to sleeve. The bottom of the inner sleeve has a tear. There are foxing/discolouration marks on the front and back of the white sleeve - I've photographed the worst of it. It's possible this could wipe off, but I don't want to risk damaging it further.
It has the earliest 3 die cut corner sleeve.It has a misprint "all I need is a volunteer" rather than the correct lyric "Can I have a volunteer?" on Seaside Rendezvous.

At the time it was made this album was the most expensive ever to have been produced so, if your priority is audio quality, there’s even more reason than usual to have a first pressing. The UK original first pressings were packaged in a Garrod & Lofthouse made gatefold with an embossed emblem on the front. The record is stored in a thick card picture inner sleeve which was die cut with three angle cut corners, one square cut corner and a cut away entry edge to ease record removal. The record itself was pressed from the -2 & -2 matrix set, which is machine imprinted into the run-off area along with a hand etched BLAIR’S both sides being the moniker of Chris “Vinyl” Blair the EMI engineer whose masters were used for the first pressings. The gatefold shows some signs of age and use with discolouration but it is tidy, intact and highly respectable in every way. The album dedicated picture inner has damage to the bottom seam at the centre.
