Queen/ A Night At The Opera/Parlophone/1/2 speed remaster/30th Ann./NEW/UNOPENED.
Hello, now this one is rather different and just a little bit special ! As you can see and gather from my photos above it is still sealed in its original outer paper bag envelope as per the original Japanese release was way back in 1975.
Therefore I am not prepared to open it just to take some photos for ebay- sorry ! I bought it back in 2005 and it has been inside a metal flight case in my music room ever since. So this can be officially classified as NEW, dont you think ? Obviously within the envelope is the 2005 30th anniversary half speed remaster vinyl version in its usual embossed gatefold sleeve I would guess as it's meant to be a perfect replica.
The remastering was done by Bob Ludwig and the laquers prepared by Miles Showell at Metropolis Mastering in London.
Obviously I cannot give you the matrix info or such like, but from the reviews I have read about this release it is one of the very best sounding records of this amazing album by Queen. I think it's a heavy 180 gram platter but again I cannot confirm that.
So this is the 2005 issue UK 12 track Bob Ludwig remastered 30th Anniversary Collectors Edition presented in an outer envelope.
Sorry but that is all I can tell you, the rest is up to you. A very rare and collectable edition.
