Description

A genuine rarity, the original withdrawn UK demo version of Queen's "Keep Yourself Alive"/"Son And Daughter" EMI 2036. This version was scheduled for release and dated 15.6.73, but was withdrawn with all copies ordered destroyed when it was discovered the wrong mix had been used, the correct mix was then issued as both a demo and the eventual single.

Allegedly there were as few as 14 copies that survived the recall back in 1973, the scarcity of copies surfacing suggests that this number or close to it is correct and assuming that not all of those copies have survived this is a genuine rarity, not only that, but it has survived in very nice condition.

Visually side A has just a hint of very, very faint scuffing and one very, very light mark which I've managed to capture in the photo, side B has one very, very light radial mark. The labels are both in excellent condition.
