Description
This 4-disc vinyl boxset features two concerts by Queen, recorded at the Rainbow Theatre London, on March 31st and 19 & 20 November 1974. They are spread across 8 sides of vinyl. Hugely popular, it has been out of print since its initial release. It now changes hands for several times is retail price.
I was unlucky enough to be taken on by a Swedish seller, who claimed the set was in excellent condition all round. However, when it arrived it was anything but. There is damage to the box, both at the corners and a slice on the back made by some sort of sharp instrument. That was bad enough, but when I checked the box's contents I found there was damage to the sleeve of the 3rd lp. And when I saw the damage to the rear of the 4th lp sleeve I could have cried. It looked like Jack The Ripper had gotten to it. Somebody obviously doesn't like Roger Taylor.
Luckily, the 1st and 2nd lp's are fully intact, and all 4 discs are in excellent condition.
I managed to get a brand new copy, at some expense, a month or so ago, so I am selling this based on the overall condition of the set.
