Description

An original 1st press on custom EMI labels. Matrix 1/2 - this looks like the 1st commercially available cut. The vinyl comes housed in an original G&L gatefold cover - really nice solid card employed. We also have the original bespoke inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In super condition and has only seen lightest use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. A nigh on perfect player - I don't recall ever witnessing better. Plays totally clean in the acoustic 'Who Needs You' and piano driven 'Melancholy'. Clean signalled throughout - it has clearly seen only light careful use. At worst a few isolated crackles as 'All Dead' starts up [no biggy at all] . Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex) A really solid and smart looking original. Worth mentioning the rigidity - you could eat your dinner off of this cover it is that solid. Surfaces are in excellent condition with only slight signs of handling. The interior is immaculate. Lovely solid openings with just some light edge wear in the odd spot [e.g. edge of opening panel]. Spine is in excellent order with all text fully legible - just a touch of slightest wear at the ends. A cracking original copy.
Inner (Ex) No splits!!! I think that's tricky to find on this title. The paper is quite delicate - most would have split.
