Hi and thanks for looking at this fabulous item!
My uncle was a huge Queen fan and would travel to London every few weeks to help out at the Official Queen Fan Club in Kensington during the mid-late Eighties. On one of these occasions, Freddie arrived for a meeting at their management company in the same building. My uncle, who used to take some records with him in the hope that he'd meet a member of the group, asked Freddie's driver if he would ask him to sign the record. An hour or so later, the fan club secretary handed him this copy of News of the World, now bestowed with Freddie's autograph. My uncle took great care of this item until he died and this was left to me along with some vintage Queen momorabilia. I have owned this for a couple of years now, but after having a clear out due to a recent move, I have decided to sell it.

There is no COA with this item as it was signed at the fan club premises and not bought from a dealer. I don't feel the need to spend money on getting it certified as I know it is genuine. My uncle spent several occasions helping the fan club pack envelopes with newsletters etc., and on a few occasions, was rewarded with a signed CD. I know that he had a CD of I Want it All signed by all members of Queen and this came with a letter of thanks from the secretary who was called Jacky which had a letter head with a picture of a microphone, a guitar, a drum and another guitar. This was in 1989. He had loads of stuff like programs, scarves, t-shirts and other things from seeing them on tour in the Seventies. I can't really provide any other information so if you don't want to bid then I understand but I will refund you if not completely happy!
