Description
Who wants to live forever - classic Queen 12" single from the A Kind of Magic Album. The UK pressings of these had killer Queen as the B side track, but NZ used Don't Lose Your Head.
These copies are very hard to find even here in NZ ! As you will see from the label photo it was manufactured in New Zealand
The differences:
1/ Front cover is a slightly different shade of burgandy to the EMI UK Pressing
2/ Rear cover shows the exact same picture as the front cover on the EMI NZ pressing, UK pressing shows 2 album covers
3/ Catolouge number for the UK is 12Queen9 - The NZ pressing has a unique number Good142
4/ Different B side's and label colours and track titles from the UK pressing
5/ Uk pressing the record removes from the top, NZ pressing it removes from the side
6/ Uk pressing has flaps glued down on the outside of the rear cover, NZ pressing is all one piece
There is a little bit of sticker residue on the B side label. It is the exact size of the Demonstration Only stickers that EMI used, however some muppet has removed it! My guess is that this was originally a Demo record.
The record and cover are in excellent condition. The spine of the NZ pressing has a white strip with black writing instead of the burgandy but its hard to get a good picture.
Don't let this slip away, a unique piece to add to your Queen Collection.
