Description
Extremely Rare UK released Queen - The Miracle - Promo Box Set that includes:
CD, Cassette, Biography and Black/ white photo.
You don't see many of these extremely scarce UK Promo Box Sets come up for sale. Distributed in very small numbers in 1989 to help promote the forthcoming Queen album 'The Miracle'.
Promo Box Set includes the following items.
1. 13 Track CD with 16 page insert sleeve. CD jewel case has a black/ white sticker on the reverse which reads 'Promotional Copy Only Not For Sale'
Issued by Parlophone with Catalogue No. CDP 79 2357 2 and CDPCSD 107. Track listing below.
2. The Teaser Cassette which has 'For Promotional Use Only wriiten on the flap of the card insert. Written on the Cassette 'Queen Various tracks from the forthcoming album 'The Miracle'. Issued by Parlophone with Catalogue No. TEASER 1.
3. 12 Page Biography which measures 11"x8". Glossy Colour booklet with biography and photos and centre spread colour photograph of the band.
4. Black/ white promotional photo/ sticker that measures 10"x8". Looks like the front peels off as a sticker would.
All contents housed in a glossy coloured cardboard custom made promo box which measures 11 3/4"x8 1/2"x1". CD and Cassette sit in special recessed pockets in the box. The Biography and Photo are housed in a special folder that is situated underneath the lid of the box set.
CD, Cassette, are in mint condition. Biograph, photo and Promo Box is in near mint condition. Photo has a slight crease running vertically near the right edge. Promo box has some very small nics at corner edges, but hardly noticeable. See Photos.
I have owned this Promo Box Set since 1989, I bought this Promo Box Set from a well respected record shop in London. The CD or the cassette have never been played by myself.
