Description
For sale on behalf of a friend, who states;
"Cat numbers all match,matrix no. 8230911 followed by side designation (A,B,C or D), pressing no. 1-1-1.
Nice original copy of super-rare,double vinyl album on 180 gramme pressings, though they feel heavier. Bought new in 1997,played twice and then stored, and I have played them once to check them recently so can categorically state that these albums have been played NO MORE than four times, using either my Linn Axis with Basik Plus arm and K5 cartridge, or my old Lenco with an Ortofon VMS 30 mk 2 both aligned properly and balanced to 1.75 grammes contact weight,with anti-skate set using a perspex skating disc.
They are untreated and uncleaned, so there is bound to be static pop present, and I can only add that, although they appear mint, I would describe these records as excellent and the outer sleeve the same. The inner sleeves arrived as shown when I bought the album, and the whole batch was the same. Nonetheless this album is excellent and rare, and only being sold as it holds bad associations for me.
There are certain territories blocked from the sale, this is because I am aware of, shall we say, less than scrupulous "purchasers" in these regions in particular, and as I am not a dealer, I am unwilling to absorb the risk.
