Highly collectible early vinyl edition of Queens of the Stone Age’s landmark Songs for the Deaf, featuring Josh Homme, Nick Oliveri, Mark Lanegan and Dave Grohl.
This is the sought-after 2003 Ipecac translucent red double-vinyl edition, not one of the later represses. Both records are translucent red with the distinctive Q/sperm center-label artwork. Matrix/runout information is photographed for identification.
VINYL: Very nice overall pre-owned condition. Both LPs retain excellent gloss with some light surface/handling marks visible under strong direct lighting. Please examine the close-up photographs, which were intentionally taken under bright light to show condition accurately.
JACKET: Shows age and shelf wear including surface rubbing/scuffing, edge wear and corner wear, most noticeably at the upper-right corner. Gatefold interior remains attractive. Please see all photographs.
INNER SLEEVES: The original black paper inner sleeves are not included. They were previously replaced with archival-quality protective inner sleeves, which are included with the records.
This is an increasingly difficult early pressing to find, particularly compared with the numerous later reissues of the album.
