Quicksand “Home Is Where I Belong” LP (Dawn DNLS 3056)
A much-sought after rarity!
Quicksand were a very popular band from South Wales in the early seventies, who, despite extensive gigging and a loyal following, failed to get the widespread recognition they deserved. Best described as melodic prog rock, this, their only album, is now highly collectable.
This record and gatefold sleeve is in excellent overall condition, except for one needle scratch on the first track of side one (Hideaway My Song). I cannot vouch for the playing quality because I have no access to a turntable, but it I have owned it from new and it has not had much playing. In fact, once I had recorded it onto cassette (about 35 years ago!) I don’t think I ever played the record again!
