Thanks for looking at my listing, which is for the 1984 R. Stevie Moore compilation "Everything You Always Wanted To Know About R. Stevie Moore But Were Afraid To Ask". This was released in France on New Rose Records as sort of an introduction to his music. It has songs culled from his many cassette club releases as well as albums that had been released up to that point. This is a fascinating listen and if you are an Ariel Pink or Guided By Voices fan, you will appreciate his DIY and Lo-Fi approach to recording. Another favorite musician of mine, Jason Falkner, of Jellyfish, Grays and solo fame is also a big fan and the influence can definitely be heard on this comp. Although only one LP is in the picture, this is a 2 LP set running almost 100 minutes.
The jacket is in excellent condition with no corner dings or seam splits, just light wear inside the gatefold, some light creases around the spines, common for European LPs, and a few light indentions. I would rate the jacket VG++. The discs play beautifully, with minimal surface noise. I would rate them NM-. The discs have been vacuumed and placed inside brand new poly sleeves, but the original French inner sleeves are also included. Don't miss out on this hard to find compilation.
I am a longtime eBay buyer and seller: your LP will be shipped in a record mailer, disc outside the jacket in the inner sleeve, surrounded by cardboard pads. I will accept any LP back within two weeks if you disagree with my grading and are unhappy. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
