R. STEVIE MOORE 45 7" 4 FROM PHONOGRAPHY PRIVATE INDIE POWERPOP SIGNED AUTOGRAPHED BY MOORE ON BACK
From 1976, comes R. Stevie Moore with his first LP, Phonography on Vital Records VS0001. This is a rare first press of his first album which was issued as a demo only! 100 were pressed! Rare fourteen track original which is a thick,plain white cover with a homemade photocopied slick pasted on.Contains three rare inserts, including a 12" by 12" insert listing the songs and a picture of a tape recorder microphone. There is also a lyric insert and a letter from Harry Palmer, who was the executive producer of this album. The letter reads as follows."Phonography -This is a demonstration record presenting to you the world of Steve Moore, a new and vital pop artist looking for a home in the recording industry. Phonography was recorded at home on two 1/4" track tape decks (SONY TC640 and Teac 2300) operated by Steve Moore in the privacy of his own living room. All instruments,voices,effects,etc by Steve Moore. All selections conceived and written by Steve Moore,except Theme From A.G." Palmers contact info listed below.
