Description
This is the Reference Recording "Reference Mastercuts" RM-1002, " A Pure Analogue Recording" Numbered Collector's Edition (number 01644) recorded at Powell Hall, Saint Louis, musical supervision by Joanna Nikrenz and Marc J. Aubort. This is an HQ-180-gram vinyl pressed at Record Techology, Inc and the disc was mastered by Doug Sax at the Mastering Lab, Los Angeles. All of the 'credentials' around this album and its "re-creation" are top notch. Oh yes, this record is of Rachmaninoff's symphony number 2 in e-minor, opus 27. Robert E. Greene, Professor of Mathematics, UCLA (also reviewer for the Absolute Sound magazine) fills the inside two pages of the gatefold album with his commentary. The LP playing sides have been professionally cleaned using a VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine with dedicated vinyl wash fluid, vacuumed dry and de-static'd.
