Description

This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of the debut LP by Australian punk group Radio Birdman, released in 1978.  Along with the Saints, the group was one of the first punk bands to establish themselves Down Under.  Their sound was derived largely from Detroit/Ann Arbor groups like the MC5 and the Stooges; notably, guitarist Deniz Tek originally hailed from the latter city, and the b-side to the group's first single was a cover of the Stooges' "TV Eye."  Their debut features their first three singles, notable among them their tribute to the original Hawaii Five-O, "Aloha Steve & Danno."  The jacket has creasing along spine and seams, light ring and corner wear, and a small tear along edge on the back cover (EX).  There is a gold promo stamp on the front cover.  The disc is clean, and plays close to M- with occasional light surface noise (EX+).  The record comes with a custom inner sleeve (EX).

I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
