- From 1970 or so - no date is notated anywhere - this is an original, promo only LP for the "Radio Free America" pilot program. LP is one sided and was sent out to radio stations, laying out the concept and what artists one would expect to hear on the to be syndicated "Radio Free America" program. This LP features a voice over DJ explaining the show, plus bits of tracks from Nina Simone, The Rolling Stones (2,000 Light Years From Home), The Beatles (Golden Slumbers), The MC5 (Kick Out The Jams), The Who (Pinball WIzard), The Band, and a bunch of others. It also contains a snippet of an interview with Alvin Lee of 10 Years After, and also a bit with Bob Dylan talking about East Orange, NJ. Plain brown jacket is EX (Excellent), showing some minor handling/rubbing. Vinyl is a shiny and clean VG+/VG++, showing surface sleeve lines/marks; playback is solid with some bits of crackle, while labels are crisp with no spindle wear.
