Because most records are already 30-50 years old, i assess in relation to age. Minimal colour changes may be in the vinyl but have no quality loss resulted.
NM to VG++ the vinyl has none to very minimal signs of wear.
VG + the vinyl has a few, small superficial signs of usage.
