Description
This is an auction for a very rare EP, 'Rag Goes Mad At The Mojo'. See pictures for track and artist listing.
This was released by Action Records in 1967 and has catalogue number ACT002EP. Released in conjunction with Sheffield University rag magazine, Twikker. Please check the pictures for clarification. Booked at 100 pounds in Rare Record Collector 2010.
Matrix: SURR A SURR B
Condition: The sleeve comes in fine condition, with some wear seen to the bottom right corner and three places on the top edge, 3 tiny fingering indentations can just be made out on the mouth edge, with ultra light buffing to the very corners, lastly there is just a touch of yellowing to the rear mouth edge and a couple of very light finger marks on the rear white surface. Spine and flipback edges ex, no overall discolouring, a nice crisp sleeve.
This comes with its original inner sleeve which has a little creasing.
Both labels look brand new, under the closest of examinations perhaps one tiny spindle trail can be seen on each side, to be honest it looks completely unplayed. The centre hole does have a tiny amount of picking seen on the very bottom of the centre hole on each side. These labels are just about as good as you can find them with no finger/dirt marks whatsoever. Judging by the fact this does not have any spindle trails I would say its certainly only been played once if at all.
The vinyl does not let this down, this retains its brand new rainbow shine and looks immaculate. Only when tilted to a very strong light can one long ghost mark just be made out. This is of course completely non-audible and as stated only seen under the closest of examinations. This is as good as you can find it, mint audio and playing with no lessening in sound quality whatsoever. Not suffering from any reduction due to wear. Looking and playing as new and graded at an ultra strict Near Mint. Simply down-graded for the picking to the centre hole, certainly mint audio and no doubt mint by most other traders.
This one I also strongly recommend, just like the Led Zep LP I also have on my Ebay, a collectors item and superb collectable.
