Original and only pressing on BIS, at least as difficult to find as his "Sand" album on Shandar. Grippe is also featured on the Nurse with wound list of influences for his other BIS album. Grippe has worked at the Groupe des Recherches Musicales in Paris with Pierre Schaeffer, at McGill University in Montreal well known for its' electronic department, at the IRCAM in Paris collaborating with Luciano Berio in the department for electroacoustic music. His meeting with Luc Ferrari back in 1970 was quite influential and led Grippe to work in Ferrari's Studio ALM(Atelier de Liberation Musicale), where he composed his "Sand" LP for Shandar and the first record he recorded for BIS. Back to Sweden in the 80's Grippe worked in EMS (Elektronmusikstudion).   Sound material on the Ten Temperaments album are Synclavier II, 16 voices, Buchla synthesizer, tranistor radio, kettledrum, woodblock, claves, triangel, piano. Together with other swedish composers and especially Rune Lindblad, Ralph Lundsten, Leo Nilsson, Sven Erik Back, Lars Gunnar Bodin, he is considered as the new wave in swedish music.

Andriessen was a contemporary with fellow composers Ralph Lundsten, Bengt Emil Johnson, Lars Gunnar Bodin, Henk Badings and Dick Raaijmakers, Jan Boerman, Ton Bruynel, Rune Lindblad and of course also Roland Kayn, Ton de Leeuw, while one shouldn't forget also Tom Dissevelt and Arne Nordheim. Other composers in the same style(as the musique concrete influences are quite present in his work) could be Pierre Henry, Pierre Schaefer, Bernard Parmegiani and Iannis Xenakis, Jean Schwarz and of course Pendercki, John Cage and Karlheinz Stockhausen. 

Vinyl in absolutely mint condition, while cover is ex-, would be mint if it didn't have a 1 cm damage on the top of the cover!! Extremely difficult  to find, don't lose this chance to grab it now!!
