We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 16,800 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Original 1969 first pressing in thick gatefold cover on the rainbow Capitol label...sometimes under-estimated, this is a great, great solid album that, once you get your listening teeth into, will surely surprise...many cuts are highlights -- not a bad track in the bunch...the Miller band is stripped down to a cooking hard edged guitar trio centered on killer melodic tracks with infectious sounds...

Brave New World is the third album by The Steve Miller Band, released in 1969. The tracks "Celebration Song" and "My Dark Hour" featured Paul McCartney on backing vocals, drums and bass guitar credited as Paul Ramon.

The primary heavy guitar riff on "My Dark Hour" (a scorching psych nugget) was also used on the title track to Steve Miller's monster 1976 album Fly Like An Eagle.

"Space Cowboy" uses the same primary guitar riff as the Beatles' song Lady Madonna.

Brave New World, released in 1969 with refrences to celebrations and tripping abound, making this one of the sunniest, trippiest album of the psychedelic era. (Even the album cover is sunny yellow!) The opening of the title track (and the album) is a blast - literally, a bomb blast which hearalds the start of both a fresh, enjoyable tune and a bright new beginning for the world at large. Then, great drumming by Tim Davis kickstarts "Celebration Song," another wonderful vision of a world at play. "Got Love 'Cause You Need It" sounds like it's sung by Miller's infamous Gangster of Love character, full of danger and seduction, while "Seasons" is a gorgeous acoustic ballad, as heartfelt a track as Stevie Guitar has ever recorded. Nice! "Space Cowboy," of course, is another of the the albums big highlights, complete with Moog synthesizer space sounds, and an excellent guitar solo from Miller -- Literally too, too far out! "LT's Midnight Dream" is a fantasy feast, with lyrics like "got a bulldog in my learjet, gonna teach him how to fly"! Paul McCartney of the Beatles contributes drums, bass, and vocals to the blues-rock "My Dark Hour," while "Can't You Hear Your Daddy's Heartbeat?" is a love song in hard double-quick time and "Kow Kow" (also known as "Kow Kow Calqulator") combines more fantasy lyrics with quotes from "Turn on your Love Light". CONDITION: The cover: rated: M- The thick gatefold cover is solid, the front and back are colorful and fine (no fade) ... the back cover is M- clean, really well preserved over the past 47 years. Has NO bends, no writing and no split seams...

The vinyl: is solid too, all glossy, rated M- plays fantastic = no surface distraction  ...and has clean Capitol labels, makes this a must have copy..
