RAINBOW FFOLLY - SALLIES FFORTH - Stereo LP EMI Parlophone PCS 7050 - 1968 Matrix Nos: YEX 681 - 1, YEX 682 - 1 Embossed Tax Code on Side 2 Label K T on either side of the spindle hole and J underneath.
This is the original release of Rainbow Ffolly's only LP record which unfortunately didn't sell well enough for them to make another LP at the time. The beautiful psychedelic, laminated cover is still in excellent condition apart from rubbing to the opening edge and corners. It has 3 small pen marks at the top right hand corner, on the back and a nice solid spine (see pictures). It still has the original, clean, EMI inner sleeve with no splits, but does have PCS 7050 written on the top right hand corner and 120 on the bottom right hand corner. The vinyl sounds rich and clear, with no scratches, sticks, jumps, warps or distortion but side 1 does have a few light hairlines which I have tried to photograph, but they don't affect play (see close-up pictures).
Side !: Light crackle on run-out. The odd light clicks here and there.
Side 2: Light crackle on lead-in and run-out. The odd light clicks here and there. On track two there are 3 light repetitive clicks near the start. On the second last track there are two repetitive light clicks and a light pop, again near the start.
