SOPHOMORE ALBUM from this wonderfully effective hard rock supergroup featuring Ritchie Blackmore on guitar, drummer Cozy Powell and vocalist Ronnie James Dio. The material is steller, ranging from volatile epic hard rock tracks such as 'Tarot Women' and 'Starstruck' to more evocative songs like 'Do You Close Your Eyes' and the weirdly constructed but hugely compelling 'Run With The Wolf'. Of course its sifde two that holds all the aces containing just two tracks, the mindblowing 'Stargazer' and the even more stunning, speed metal rush of 'A Light In The Black'.
Blackmore is on fire at every turn whilst Ronnie James Dio makes full use of that distinctive roar positioning himself as one of the definitive hard rock vocalists. I bought this album when it first came out, as a devout Blackmore worshipper I couldn't have wished for a better record, it was that good and that compelling.
Lovely as new copy - truly impossible to upgrade any further..

Vinyl: Clean and shiny condition. No spindle marks and virtually no other signs of any use. A couple of non audible blemishes. Grades as top MINT-!
Cover: Again, no signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated gatefold cover. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is perfectly straight, stiff and totally uncrushed. Beautiful and impossible to find like this 40 years after release. Grades as shop fresh MINT!
