Rainbow Theatre – Fantasy of Horses
Australian Progressive 1976
Thank you for looking at my item.
Here on offer is one of Australia’s most sought after progressive albums of the 1970s. Produced in 1976 Rainbow Theatre’s 2nd album Fantasy of Horses on the Clear Light of Jupiter label CLOJ 783 is a genuine rarity. This progressive gem is unique in that it used some dynamic brass and wind instruments as well as the more conventional guitars, keyboards and percussion. As a result, this concept album has a sound of its own unlike other progressive albums. Scintillating percussion by Graeme Carter definitely stands out on this imaginative and creative album.
This album was composed by guitarist and keyboards player Julian Browning. I have no knowledge of Browning playing in other bands and this probably adds to the fresh sound created by Rainbow Theatre.

CONDITION
Cover – Some staining on the top of cover. VG.
Vinyl – Nice clean copy. Has some noise on the start of the opening track of each side. These are quieter passages. On the louder tracks noise is minimal. VG minus.
In all a satisfactory copy of this genuine rare progressive album.
