Description
RAM & SEL: Gold Is The Ring/Screw You (Major Minor MAM 549, HOLLAND 1970) This 45 was released by Ramases & Seleka and as "Love You" (instead of "Screw You") in the U.K.! Wicked psychy proto-punk with creepy erotic vocals, hypnotic rhythms & strange lyrics...reminds me of late 70's group Suicide in some way! "Screw You" appeared on the EXPLOITING PLASTIC INEVITABLE #2 comp. You usually see the German PS pressing of this 45, but here's the much rarer Dutch pressing that was also distributed in Belgium! Pic sleeve sleeve shows the duo dressed up in ancient Egypt clothes. Great copy! Strict grading. Record(/Sleeve) = EX/EX
I use the standard grading system, so M (mint), EX (excellent), VG (very good), G (good) etc. +(+)/-(-) = slightly better/worse then... Some Abbreviations that I use: wo(b)c = writing on (back)cover; wol = writing on label; toc/tol = tape on cover/label; rw = ringwear; soc/sol = sticker on cover/label; nc = no center; co(h) = cut out (hole).
