RAMASES LP SPACE HYMNS VERTIGO 1971 SWIRL VERTIGO 6360046

On offer is the RAMASES LP entitled SPACE HYMNS released in STEREO in THE UK on the VERTIGO SWIRL label VERTIGO 6360046 in 1971. This LP up for auction is from my own collection and is a rare original 1971 UK 11-track vinyl LP on the Vertigo 'swirl' label. It features the husband and wife team of Ramases & Selket and was recorded at Manchester's Strawberry Studios with backing from all four members of 10CC. The LP is housed in a superb six-sided fold-out Roger Dean picture cover. The Matrix numbers for this rare 1st pressing are: 6360046 1Y//1 420 & 6360046 2Y//1 420.

This LP is in nice condition as follows-

The DISC is visually in EX/EX- condition with a lovely sheen to the vinyl.
The labels are in nice clean condition.
The LP has its original VERTIGO swirl inner sleeve.
The elaborate GATEFOLD SLEEVE (which folds into a poster of RAMESES and SELKET) is in nice EX/EX- condition. Often these (non-laminated) sleeves were pinned on bedroom walls or left out of a plastic sleeve. However - this LP and the sleeve - has been kept in a plastic sleeve for many years which has helped it to retain its fresh look.
There is no writing or marks of any kind on the sleeve or the labels.
The LP plays EX (with a nice full stereo sound) on side B – however there some marks at the start of Side A which means that the record plays with audible surface noise and with some clicks for the first minute or during the quiet intro to Side A – Life child. The rest of Side A plays EX.

Overall this is a highly collectable example of the RAMASES LP –SPACE HYMNS - on the VERTIGO SWIRL label in EX/EX+ condition that has been well looked after over the years as part of my personal collection.
