'' RAMONES ''  FIRST UK SIRE RECORDS 1976 ~ 1Y//1 2Y//1 , 1-1 STAMPERS ~ FULLY TESTED RECORD ~ PLAYS NEAR MINT. Catalogue No. 9103 253. YEAR 1976. When I first heard The Ramones on the Vertigo 'New Wave ' LP~ that was it for me ! The later US and  indeed dare I say, UK bands didn't really matter that much, such was the impact of Joey &Co - and they were doin' it in '74 ! First and last punk fer me ! ( and before you say 'new york dolls' - they come under sleaze / garage/ glam in my book. I was lucky and truly privileged to see The Ramones with Marky in '79 and '80 . Some times, you never forget !
