This is the ORIGINAL 1977 SIRE RECORDS U.S. ISSUE OF THE 1977 LP titled 'Rocket To Russia' from The Ramones. It is Sire Records U.S. catalog number SR 6042, with its original custom inner sleeve with song lyrics and artwork.

Condition of record is a SOLID NM with no visible surface marks. Condition of cover is VG+ with some contact wear, a small 1" area in the middle of the spine where the top layer of paper is worn away, and some wear along the edges and on the corners. Cover has no water damage, splits, tears, writing, or stickers. Custom inner sleeve is split for the entire length of both sides and for 2" in the middle of the bottom edge; I have repaired these splits with clear tape, inner sleeve also has a little writing in blue ballpoint and some slight wrinkles. This original first press LP would be a nice addition to any Ramones or 1970s early punk record collection! Media mail postage within the U.S. is $4.00.
