We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Original 1969 first pressing of the third Blue Cheer album ...they lost guitarist Leigh Stephens from their first two albums, but came up with the power guitar bomber Randy Holden who played with 'The Other Half' (album on Atca records, 1967)

This is certainly "new" Blue Cheer, and is an important as a document of a band with some influence and certain cult status. Now that the Velvet Underground have achieved true cult superstardom, it is bands like Blue Cheer that continue to get rediscovered by devotees of '60s music. Here, original members (bassist/vocalist) Dickie Peterson and (drummer) Paul Whaley present two distinctly different Blue Cheers. Side two works much better with the addition the monstrous feedback guitar bombs of the legendary Randy Holden (check out his 1970 "Population II" bomber). Side two features mainly 2 extended tracks, all Randy Holden originals, "Peace of Mind," "Fruit & Iceburgs," and the brief "Honey Butter Lover" are the albums highlights ..."Peace of Mind" is totally great, a plodding crunch of hard rock riff, and a refinement of the blistering Blue Cheer sound that launched them into the consciousness of the public. This is the stuff Grand Funk should've listened to — or better still, should have covered. Although both sides of this album were produced by Milan Melvin, ex-MINT TATTOO members, Burns Kellogg on organ, and Bruce Stephens on guitars, combine with Whaley and Peterson on side one with basement rock vibes that highlight with the scorching "I Want My Baby Back" and other more straight ahead hardrock sounds. Blue Cheer "As Different As Night and Day" would've been a better title for this album. "Fruit & Icebergs" is heavy psychedelia. Black Sabbath's "Rat Salad" meets San Francisco's Big Brother & the Holding Company without Janis Joplin.
