Description
Randy Holden's Population II is one of the premier killer psychedelic albums of all time.
In absolutely near mint condition (as virtually everything has some flaw, although you'd be hard pressed to find one in this vinyl) with a VG+ jacket.
Jacket has minor ring wear on jacket front with virtually perfect back cover.
Record and Jacket have a small drill through hole (cutout) that is apparently on most (I've never seen one without it) of these incredibly rare pressings.
On Hobbit 5002, this record has been bootlegged, not so here, having collected for almost forty years, I know the real thing from the phony.
Members of this group also played with Kak, Jimi Hendrix Experience and others, what a pedigree.
Typical of Psychedelic music of the period, the moody guitar has you swimming in black light dreams with irridescent day glo colors rushing through your brain.
Not for the ducktail set, nor the acoustic riff strummers, this one can only be appreciated by those re-living Haight-Ashbury, Fillmore East or the Kinetic Playground.
