Randy Lee, Young Ideas b/w Let Me Go Climbing, Philips 40127. Year of release is 1963. This is a listing for a copy of this rare and highly sought after 45. The record visually grades in good to very good condition under a POWERFUL HALOGEN LAMP. It doesn't look much better under ordinary lighting, either. It does, however, play grade as a solid VG or better. The record is made of styrene. In addition to the usual appearance of a G to VG record, the Young Ideas side has some markings that look like candlestick wax was spilled on it. However, these markings per se do not sound. There is a very small, clean drill hole through the label, but you will have to look very hard to find it in the images below. Labels are both considerably worn as can also be seen in the images below. You can judge this record in part for yourself by checking out the sound bytes (recorded from the actual record itself, raw, unprocessed, and including trail-ins). Be sure to use the volume control to the right of the part of timing that appears in red. Otherwise, the byte will play too softly. This presumably can be an opportunity to obtain a play copy at a very reasonable cost. Consider bidding on this as an add-on to combine shipping!
