Description: Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique Lps, this one featuring Claudio Arrau on a 13 LP box set.

Several unique things about this item:  Firstly, these discs retain the original shine with no visible imperfections grading by sight in normal room light.  I'm sure if you took these and put them under a 1000 watt bulb, you'd probably find something that makes them less than mint.  If you're that kind of collector, let me suggest this auction is not for you.

I don't claim these records are mint.  Based on past experience and visual examination, I'd expect the tracks to audibly average better than half way between VG+(excellent) and Near Mint with some scattered very, very light surface noise.  If you want an audio grade of an entire record, no problem, just drop me a note well in advance of the end of auction.  You can then assign your own grade based on my comments on what I heard and the GRADING SCALE BELOW!.    

Keep in mind how it plays for me may differ how it plays for you based on differences in audio equipment.

I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3), NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s).

Labels: Gray with silver print.   No stickers, no pen/pencil marks, no spindle marks.   Trailing wax: Side 1 (record one): "AA 835 268 1Y 2 670 03 12".  Side 2: "AA 835 268 2Y 2 670 11 12". Inner sleeve(s): Thirteen (13) white sleeves with protective plastic inner linings, a few with a 1" centered seam split on one side.  Cover: No stickers.   No seam splits, no pen/pencil marks.  Corners slightly/moderately worn.  Some edge wear.     Slight general/ring wear.  Front top cover has some longer vertical creases along the right side.  Back a bit dusty. Inside has a few baffled separator sheets.  There is some foam on the bottom that is disintegrating due to age.  Rate the cover VG to VG+(excellent).  You can assign your own grade based on my comments. Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people:

• NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)
• 3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise
• 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops
• VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective)
• VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise
• G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise

I can ship in a  14 x 14 x 6" box. Weight with box is about 6 pound 1 oz. Shipping is $5.57 Media Rate (6-7 pounds) + $1.70 box/tape/packing = $7.27.
