Very rare 1926 Homocord Electro 78rpm featuring Aly Mardan Eff. Leylani, pressed in Germany for the Iraqi / Kurdish Middle Eastern market.

The artist name may possibly relate to famed Iraqi Kurdish musician Ali Mardan, although this has not been conclusively confirmed

An exceptionally atmospheric early electrical recording with powerful Near Eastern vocals and traditional Kurdish / Mesopotamian musical character.

To the best of my knowledge, this is the first copy ever offered on eBay.
