Description

This is a rare disc containing material from The Kraft Music Hall radio program of August 31, 1939.   Program was originally broadcast on NBC, The National Broadcasting Company

4 Songs on this 12 inch, 78 rpm disc.  The disc appears to be a orangish colored acetate coated aluminum.  Disc was recorded by Radio Recorders, Hollywood, CA.  Total time is approximately 12 minutes

This disc was recorded for reference purposes only and not available to the general public, very rare!

Disc includes a rare radio performance of harpist Carlos Salzedo who plays his own composition "Song In The Night", incorrectly printed on the label "Song Of The Night"

Other songs include "Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead" vocal The Music Maids, "Tambourin Chinois" instrumental by John Scott Trotter & His Orchestra, "To You" vocal by Pat Friday (the last note or two of this song is cut off by the end of the disc)

There is a bit of dialogue by Bob Burns & Pat Friday

An extremely rare, one-of-a-kind disc featuring a rare performance by Carlos Salzedo.  I could not find any reference to any other existing copies of this radio performance

Disc is in Very Good or better condition with Very Good to Excellent sound, plays perfectly with no skips
